Spam Form Submission Domain Name Filter

Did you know that you can block spam form submissions based on the domain name of the person submitting the form or the bot Submitting the form will with lead SNAP and its spam filters. They’re powerful and you can do just that. As you can see, in the last 90 days I’ve blocked 224 spam form submissions with the filters available in lead SNAP. Now here’s how you do it. As you can see, the spam filter section and lead SNAP is extensive. You can block based on various different parameters, including phone number, keyword domain filtering, email address, and country country IP.

In this case, I’m going to show you how to block based on domain. So in this case, you can see that I have a ton of different domains in here. And what I found is that these domains were repeatedly sending me spam form submissions to my websites. So once I saw that domain over and over and over again, I could tell it was being used by a bot system or some other system to submit spam form submissions. So what did I do? I just put the domain right in here and just block it. Now, if I had this particular domain that I wanted to block coast to coast or USA dotcom, I would put the domain in their ad domain.

It tells me the domain already exists. If I had Costa USA, USA two dotcom, for example, I would add the domain, it would bring it down here to the bottom. Cost for USA two. And then I would just update my filter. It’s as simple as that. From that point forward, anybody submitting a form submission that’s coming with an email from that domain itself will completely be blocked from my system and they will all be firewalled into a separate container. They will not go to my client. I will not have to manually review them to see if they’re a real lead or not.

Now, this saves me a ton of time because I don’t have to put my eyes on all of these emails and it makes a big difference when you remove that kind of heavy lifting out of your system. Your clients are happier, you’re happier, and it’s just way simpler. You put these different spam filters together and you’ll be blocking 99% of span coming through your form submissions and it will be a game changer for you and your business.
